John Lennon Has a Grandchild, Sean Ono Lennon Welcomes the Birth of His First Child

The baby boy they named Aurelius is the first grandchild of the late Beatles member. This joyful news was also warmly welcomed by Julian Lennon, John Lennon’s eldest son from his first marriage.

Sean introduced Aurelius through several photos posted on Instagram after the birth of the baby. In one of the photos, he is seen holding his son wrapped in a white blanket. "We have created a Human Bean (a play on human being)! His name is Aurelius!" Sean wrote in his post.

On the other hand, Charlotte shared a portrait of herself with the baby in the hospital bed. The musician and model also showed their daily life after becoming parents, including carrying Aurelius using a baby harness. Charlotte even joked about the experience of taking care of a newborn that has made her sleep-deprived.

The birth of Aurelius also received a warm response from Julian Lennon, Sean's brother. The son of John Lennon from his marriage to Cynthia Lennon left four heart emojis in the comments of Sean's post. Sean replied to the comment with a greeting, "Uncle Jules!"

3. Aurelius Becomes the Heir of the Lennon Family

Sean Ono Lennon is the only child of John Lennon and Yoko Ono, born in Manhattan on October 9, 1975. Interestingly, this date coincides with John Lennon's 35th birthday. John Lennon immortalized the experience of being a father through the song "Beautiful Boy (Darling Boy)" which was written specifically for Sean.

Now, more than four decades after Sean's birth, the Lennon family welcomes a new member with the arrival of Aurelius.
