Kapanlagi.com - Sarwendah returned to the South Jakarta District Court to attend the child custody lawsuit hearing on Wednesday (2/9/2026). The former Cherrybelle member was present with her legal team to continue the ongoing legal process.
In the corridor leading to the waiting room for the trial, Sarwendah appeared calm amidst the crowd of journalists and smiled several times at the media crew.
"Lots of prayers and leaving everything to my lawyer," said Sarwendah when met at the South Jakarta District Court on Wednesday (02/09/2026).

Sarwendah's attorney, Chris Sam Siwu, explained the main agenda of the trial taking place today. The court has scheduled the reading of the points of the lawsuit after previous attempts at peaceful mediation did not reach an agreement.
The failure of mediation has led the case to proceed to the next stage. The panel will establish an official determination regarding the outcomes of the mediation that both parties have undertaken.
"Today is the court's summons from the hearing dated September 2 at 10 AM, related to the failure of mediation yesterday. Perhaps today there will be a determination regarding the failure of mediation, right? Then there may be a reading of the lawsuit from the plaintiff's side," said Chris Sam Siwu.

On the other hand, Ruben Onsu was not present at the trial location. His absence was justified by his attorney, Tiffany Setiawati, who stated that the principal's presence was not required for today's hearing agenda.
"Today's agenda is the reading of the lawsuit and the presentation of the results of yesterday's mediation, so the principal's presence is not necessary," said Tiffany.
Tiffany added that the presence of the legal team was sufficient to represent Ruben in the session focused on the reading of the lawsuit and the presentation of the mediation results.

Even without Ruben's presence, the trial proceeded according to the schedule set by the panel of judges. Ruben's side followed the process through a legal representative.
Tiffany reiterated the reason for her client's absence, considering that the focus of the hearing was solely on the reading of the lawsuit and the presentation of the mediation results that had been conducted.
"Not present today because it's just the reading of the lawsuit," said Tiffany.
