"Oh yes, we have separated," Zidan said when met at the Central Jakarta Religious Court on Tuesday (1/9/2026).
Zidan added that the separation of their residence is not new. He mentioned that this moment occurred quite a long time before the filing of the petition, although he couldn't remember the exact date.
"It's been a while. I forgot the exact date, but it's been a long time," he said.

Zidan explained that the decision to separate was first communicated through their respective legal representatives, so that when the official lawsuit was filed in court, formal communication had already been underway.
"Yes, it has been communicated since yesterday by my legal representative, and there has been a lot of communication as well," Zidan revealed.

He also expressed good wishes for Raisya's future. According to him, he does not want to prolong the issues that have occurred between the two of them.
"I just feel sorry for the future, so she can find someone better, maybe if I am considered lacking," he stated.
The agenda for the first hearing of case number 1440/Pdt.G/2026/PA.JP was postponed after Raisya was absent from the hearing. Their divorce case is still being processed at the Central Jakarta Religious Court, and the panel of judges will continue the hearing according to the agenda and applicable regulations.
