A song that tells about the numerous natural disasters that occur in Indonesia, including the Covid-19 pandemic.

"Based on the idea that humans are the ones who then destroy the natural world where we live, this song reminds us of the true nature of humans to pray to the Creator and ask for forgiveness and protection," Rahman Geterino said on Monday (3/5/2021).

The song Nestapa is written so deeply, every lyric contains prayers and pleas for forgiveness to the Almighty God. What's even more special, the song Nestapa was released on April 30th. Which is close to the last 10 days of Ramadan.

"Putih Abu-Abu invites listeners in the holy month of Ramadan to reflect on our actions as human beings," said Rahman Geterino.

Through the song Nestapa, Putih Abu Abu hopes that this new single can inspire the wider community who are fasting.

"The hope is that this song can add motivation to worship for those who are fasting," said Cheryl, one of the members of Putih Abu Abu.

In addition, Putih Abu Abu has also released a music video for the song Nestapa on their YouTube channel. Putih Abu Abu received a warm reception immediately after the music video was released for a few days. In fact, within three days of its release, the song has already garnered tens of thousands of viewers.
