Release 'Never Let You Go', Tamima Tells a Story About Farewell to Her Friends

Kapanlagi.com - After the success of her two singles Just Dance and Tak Selamanya, child singer Tamima is back with her third single. Yes, the single titled Never Let You Go was brought by Tamima and has been available on all music platforms since May 29, 2024.

Never Let You Go is still created by her father, Ari Pramundito. This time, Tamima tells a story about parting with a friend. Tamima said that the song was inspired by her friendship story at school.

After being together for years, Tamima and some of her friends will part ways. Currently, Tamima is known to be in the sixth grade of elementary school and will move up to the seventh grade.

"The theme is about friendship that has to be separated because it's time. This song was inspired by my dad and my friends at school who have been together since preschool until now," Tamima said.

"But, because we are going to grade 6, then grade 7, there will definitely be a lot of goodbyes, whether it's going out of town with parents or transferring schools. Even though we always play and learn together. The sadness of being left behind is what my dad poured into Never Let You Go," she continued.

Unlike the previous two singles, Tamima admitted that she felt more relaxed and comfortable during the recording process for this single. Moreover, Tamima was accompanied by her family and close friends throughout the process.

"Recording time is not too difficult, it's actually really fun, because I always practice accompanied by Papa and Uncle Opung Irwan. In addition, there is Mama and, on the drums, there is Kak Fridel who makes me more confident during recording so that the work can run smoothly and well," explained the child singer born in Jakarta, September 13, 2013.

Although Never Let You Go is about separation, musically it is made with a cheerful tone. Tamima hopes that with a more cheerful music, the message she wants to convey can be well received by those who listen.

"The message that Never Let You Go wants to convey can be delivered, that friendship is important and very valuable so never let it go even if there is a distance. Never forget our good friends because they will always be there for us," she concluded.
