Release of the Song 'Kau Ulangi Lagi', Elvan Saragih's Expression of Always Making Mistakes to His Partner

Kapanlagi.com - Since winning the talent search competition Rising Star Indonesia in 2019, singer Elvan Saragih has truly demonstrated his musical existence. The latest, Elvan Saragih released a single titled Kau Ulangi Lagi (You Repeat Again). A song about someone who always makes the same mistakes until eventually being left by their partner.

"This song tells the story of someone who has a partner, who always makes the same mistakes until it makes their partner leave. What's unique is that I've been in the same situation in this song, both as the one who left and the one who was left. So it's kinda related to me," said Elvan Saragih to reporters on Monday (30/8/2021).

In the process of creating the song Kau Ulangi Lagi, Elvan Saragih collaborated with renowned musicians in the country, namely Asta RAN, Bowo Soulmate (vocal director), and Handyanto Jiwamata (composer, producer, and arranger). In the song Kau Ulangi Lagi, they created a cool musical harmony, easy listening, and catchy in this dominant pop, soul R&B genre.

"During the recording session, I was accompanied by Mas Handy from Kanan Production and Kak Asta. Meanwhile, the vocal director was Mas Bowo (Soulmate),"

It didn't take long for Elvan Saragih to record the song Kau Ulang Lagi (You Repeat Again). The song was completed in just one day.

"Interestingly, the time needed during the recording process, only one day to record the prepared materials. It was so exciting," said Mirriam Eka's duet partner in this song Angkasa.

In addition, a music video for the song Kau Ulangi Lagi has also been specially made for Elvan Saragih's loyal followers. Similar to the recording process, Elvan Saragih did not need a long time to work on the music video for the song Kau Ulangi Lagi.

"The MV shooting process has been done, and it took a relatively short time. Because it only took one day," he said.

Through Kau Ulangi Lagi, a singer who was once in the top 20 of Indonesian Idol 2018 hopes that his new song can be accepted by the wider community.

"I hope that with the presence of the song Kau Ulangi Lagi, Elvanian friends (the term for Elvan Saragih's fans) and music lovers will like my latest single and hopefully it can appear on many top charts in Indonesia," Elvan Saragih concluded.
