Reviving Mandarin Singers during the Pandemic, Marcos Tjung Will Hold a Virtual Concert

Kapanlagi.com - The pandemic did not make musician and music and film producer, Marcos Tjung, stay silent. After a one-year hiatus, Marcos Tjung will hold a concert titled Heal the World, Heal Indonesia in May 2021. This concert also celebrates Mtjung Production's 4th anniversary.

One thing for sure, the Heal the World, Heal Indonesia concert will be different from previous years. Because it is still in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, this concert will be held virtually by Mtjung Production.

"This year is a bit different, we have a slightly different concept and it might be simpler. But it still has to be elegant and there will be surprises," said Marcos Tjung on Wednesday (17/3/2021).

1. Impact of the Pandemic

The Covid-19 pandemic has affected all segments of society, including artists. Therefore, in order to revive artists during the pandemic, Marcos Tjung organized a virtual performance called Restore the World, Restore Indonesia.

"Many artist friends, especially Mandarin singers from various regions, have been affected by this pandemic. Many cannot perform, there are almost no jobs, and the effects have caused many of them to lose their spirit," said Marcos Tjung.

2. Featuring Famous Mandarin Singers

Several famous Mandarin singers, especially, will be involved in the concert Restore the World, Restore Indonesia. Not only that, several famous artists in the country will also be present at the event.

"The artists who will be the guest stars this time are the best Mandarin singers representing their respective regions. There are several top artists from the capital city and influencers who will perform at the fourth anniversary concert of Mtjung Production," he said.

3. Back to Enthusiasm

Through the Pulihkan Dunia, Pulihkan Indonesia concert, Marcos Tjung hopes that musicians, especially Mandarin singers, can regain their enthusiasm for creating.

"My hope is that they can represent their region to give encouragement to their friends to rise again," Marcos Tjung concluded.
