He has just opened a restaurant that serves Indonesian cuisine. The restaurant is named Padamu Negeri.

"We have been consistently introducing various cultures through t-shirts. This time we are doing it through taste," said Daniel in Gandaria City, South Jakarta, Thursday (18/3/2021).

Various Indonesian dishes in his restaurant, according to Daniel, are served in a classy manner like fine dining.

"The content is nationalist, but the standard is international. Because I want both Indonesians and foreigners to like it," he said.

Like any other restaurant, Padamu Negeri restaurant also has a flagship menu, namely Nasi Goreng Kecombrang with Iga Konro from Sulawesi. "This is my favorite food," said Daniel.

2. Interesting Concept

In addition to offering Indonesian dishes, Padamu Negeri restaurant is conceptually designed as a hangout spot, offering various merchandise and showcasing Indonesian creators.

"So this place can be called a hangout spot because not only can you eat but you can also see the work of creators and buy Damn I Love Indonesia merchandise, and of course this place is selfie-friendly," he said.

3. Love for Local Products

To cultivate a love for local products, in addition to the restaurant, Daniel and his business partners also created KIBAR (Indonesia Print Bar T-shirts) and Patriot.is.me.

KIBAR is a platform for local illustrators to provide illustrations that can be instantly turned into merchandise.
