Wah apparently has a passion for longboarding, while reminiscing about his childhood when he used to enjoy skateboarding. Longboard is a hobby that can be considered quite extreme and different from regular skateboarding.
Wow, he admits that he is inspired by the lifestyle of millennials abroad who are currently crazy about longboarding, especially in France, Korea, and Japan.
In Indonesia itself, there are not many longboarding communities apart from Bali. Therefore, Wah took the initiative to do it in Jakarta.
Wah then formed a club called Jakarta Longboarder with about 30 members.
To pursue his hobby, Wah had to rent a specific futsal building because not all of them allowed the presence of longboarders.
Doing extreme sports certainly has its risks. Wah also told the story that at the end of 2020, he had a pretty serious injury.
Wah even experienced a fracture in his ankle bone and was advised not to play longboard anymore.
However, Wah didn't give up easily. He decided to go to a traditional masseur and finally was declared completely healed.
Now, Wah is back to pursuing his hobby amidst his busy schedule as the vocalist of Ska Scoot, who is still active in the music industry of the homeland.
