Kapanlagi.com - The music scene in the country is always vibrant with new works. This time, a new work comes from Rhea Asmara. The singer of German descent is set to release her third single titled Going Up on Friday (10/4).
The song, created together with Kamga, has a girl power theme. Rhea wants this song to remind women to continue loving themselves and to have power over their own lives despite various unpleasant events occurring. She incorporated afrobeat influences to enhance the positive aura and sharpen the message of the song.
The process of creating the song with Kamga has also contributed to a positive aura and boosted Rhea's spirit to complete the song.

"My thoughts and Kamga seemed to merge while working on this song. Our goal is very clear, which is to create a song that can make you dance," explained Rhea in a written statement.
Kamga also felt a positive aura while working on Going Up. Working with Rhea felt like a vacation for Kamga.
"The challenge, especially in this song, is mainly how to combine afrobeat and R&B so that the song can be enjoyable to dance to and can be sung. The recording of the phone conversation in this song was also fun, because we both thought about how to maintain the authenticity of the phone conversation at the beginning and incorporate it into the song," added Kamga.
This song was recorded at Roemah Iponk with Ivan Gojaya. According to Rhea, the process of creating this song also brought a positive aura thanks to Ivan's skill in crafting the sound, the good atmosphere in the studio, and the presence of her mother who continuously supported her and was pleased with the result of the song.
Going Up also has a music video version that will officially be released on Friday (11/10). Rhea Asmara hopes this song can show a different side of herself to people, in line with her life goal of not being afraid to seek what she wants.
