Riuh Riang Vol 3: Sukatani to Rebellion Rose Successfully Shakes Up Malang City

Kapanlagi.com - On Saturday (18/10), Malang successfully pampered festival-goers as there were 3 major concerts held simultaneously on that day. One of them was Riuh Riang Volume 3 which took place at SM Boomi Carnival, Malang.

The KapanLagi team had the opportunity to attend and cover the concert. We arrived at the venue at 15:30. And indeed, the atmosphere was already very lively and crowded. The ticket exchange line was long and winding, but neatly organized. From outside, the sound of the band Dazzle could be heard performing on stage.

So besides Dazzle, who were the other performers? And what was the excitement like? Check out our review below..

1. The Concert Journey

We entered the venue just in time for the performance of Sukatani, whose name has been rising in popularity lately. They sang about 8 songs, featuring their hit single, Gelap Gempita. It's a bit unfortunate that Sukatani did not perform the song Bayar Polisi, which made them famous.

Anyway, the concert entered a break for Maghrib prayers, before being followed by a performance from Yups, a reggae band combined with a DJ. The audience was made to sway along with the songs performed by the musician.

After the Isya break, it was The Cloves and The Tobacco's turn to take the stage. This Celtic Punk band from Yogyakarta did not want to be outdone. Through their hit song, Biarkan Berlari, the audience became very enthusiastic and sang along throughout the song. Some people were even seen lighting flares, which made the night in Malang even more vibrant and colorful.

2. Still Enthusiastic Despite a One-Hour Delay

Following The Cloves and The Tobacco, there was a performance by Three Sixty, MCPR, and Stand Here Alone, before finally continuing with Rebellion Rose.

The emergence of Rebellion Rose had been highly anticipated by the Comrades. They started their performance with the song Sehatu Selalu Saudaraku and several other hits, then closed the event with Aku Kamu Dan Samudera. Their performance was electrifying, making the audience jump in the midst of the cold in Malang City.

The concert was then closed by the Weekender Service Crew, who performed songs from Oasis and several other international hits. The flare was lit again, accompanying the chorus created by the audience.

In fact, the Riuh Riang Volume 3 concert was delayed by about 1 hour. Nevertheless, this did not diminish the enthusiasm of the audience present at all. After the event, the audience left the venue orderly and without any issues. Truly an unforgettable Saturday night!
