Ruth Sahanaya Ready to Hold 'Symphony from the Heart' Concert in Surabaya with a Different Concept

To provide a new experience for the audience, the concert in Surabaya will feature different collaborators. In addition to Silet Open Up returning to perform, Mama Uthe, as she is affectionately called, will team up with young singers like Ziva and Adrian Khalif, along with one other surprise guest

"Why were they chosen? Because to differentiate the concert in Jakarta from Surabaya. So there will be a different gimmick as well, and automatically the songs will also be somewhat different from my current duet partner," explained Ruth Sahanaya.

Under the musical direction of Tohpati and creative direction from her husband, Jeffry Waworuntu, this concert is promised to be an inspiring career journey. Thorough preparations are being made, from workshops to physical training to maintain stamina.

Ruth Sahanaya's enthusiasm is soaring as she will also perform a new song in Surabaya. According to her, singing new material always brings a different spirit.

"Oh, it's definitely exciting. Exciting because for us as singers, when we release a new album or single, it definitely brings a different energy, it's really exciting," she said.

Although still in the discussion stage, Ruth Sahanaya is also opening up the possibility of incorporating koplo music into her concert, considering that Surabaya is very much associated with that genre.

"It seems that it is still being developed by Bontot himself and us. So we are still looking for the best formula, what works best," she concluded.
