Sheemar Releases Two Singles Titled 'Puncak Tertinggi' and 'Getar', Wants to Convey This Message

Kapanlagi.com - Singer Sheemar apparently does not want to hold back in pursuing his career in the entertainment industry in the homeland. Therefore, Sheemar even gave birth to two works at once as a form of his seriousness.

His two latest works are titled 'Puncak Tertinggi' and 'Getar'. In these two songs, there seems to be an implied message about the unforgettable teenage years for Sheemar.

"Puncak Tertinggi is a single that highlights friendship during the teenage years that have to be separated by circumstances in order to continue their respective education," said Sheemar in his written statement, on Friday (8/3).

"Starting from a friendship during elementary school that was built with sincere feelings, it finally became a song with deep lyrics that relate to the journey in transitioning to adolescence," he continued.

Sheemar certainly hopes that his work can find a place in the hearts of Indonesian music lovers. Not only that, Sheemar believes that the story contained in this song can be an alternative representation of everyone's teenage memories.

"This single can also be another alternative about friendship that must be separated by more specific circumstances, specifically aimed at teenagers whose friendship is formed by empathy," he said.

2. Memory Song

In addition to Puncak Tertinggi, Sheemar also released another single titled Getar. This song is written based on his experience of being 13 years old and starting to get to know the opposite sex.

"Getar was written in memory of the last year of elementary school when I started to get to know the opposite sex, it became a feeling that could make the heart tremble and certainly make that time difficult to forget," he said.

With the release of these two singles, Sheemar also hopes that his work can add another color to music with a sincere theme of friendship, friendships that will be remembered in adulthood.
