Slank Will Release New Album Next Year, Contains 10 Songs

Kapanlagi.com - The band group Slank has just finished the live streaming of Slank Fest 2020 on the second day on the Slank Musik YouTube channel. Similar to the first day, the live streaming of Slank Fest 2020 was attended by only four Slank members, namely Bimbim, Kaka, Ivan, and Abdee. On the second day of Slank Fest 2020, the excitement was still the same as the first day. The Slank members watched videos of bands and singers covering their songs together.

There are several bands and solo singers whose videos were watched by the four Slank members, namely Naya & Alfa, Daus Rojali, Matra Band, Anak Mamih, and Raula. In addition, Slank also watched some of their old videos from their recordings.

1. New Album Release

Live streaming Slank Fest 2020 lasted for one hour. Interestingly, in this event Slank also mentioned that they will release a new album next year.

"We will release (a new album) soon, it's currently being mixed. We will release our 24th album soon. Anyway, the first single will be released on the first day of 2021. Hopefully, through that single, we can eliminate this pandemic," said Bimbim.

2. Recorded at Home

This album is truly different from Slank's previous albums. Because for this 24th album, it was worked on by each Slank member at their respective homes due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

"It's interesting, get ready to save money. The album was recorded at each member's home. We worked on it at home," said Bimbim.

Slank hasn't revealed much about their new album. However, they did mention that the new album will contain 10 new songs.
