Sony Music Indonesia Launches Sub Label 'LULULALA' to Bring Back the Glory of Children's Songs

Kapanlagi.com - Sony Music Indonesia today announced the launch of LULULALA, a sub-label that focuses on music and songs for children. LULULALA will give young artists the opportunity to build their music careers around their education and household lives. All recordings and marketing will be arranged outside of education and school commitments to ensure that education remains the top priority for the young artists who have signed with the label.

"We are very excited to announce that LULULALA is now officially launched. LULULALA is the first label from a global music company in Indonesia that focuses on music by young people for young people. We hope to help build their careers as superstars and provide fresh and exciting music for children throughout the country," said Muhammad Soufan, GM Sony Music Indonesia.

LULULALA will collaborate with a young musician named Haykaal. Haykaal is a talented young musician, multi-instrumentalist, and proficient in several musical instruments.

Haykal, who is now 13 years old, began his journey by learning to play the drums at the age of two, participating in more than 10 drum competitions throughout the country. As his interest in music grew, Haykaal learned more instruments and perfected his singing, performing with famous musicians, filling vocal and instrumental roles on stage.

1. Performing the Works of Maestro of Indonesian Children's Songs

Haykaal's first single is Hati Gembira (Feeling Happy). This song expresses gratitude for the bright blue sky, which makes the singer want to play outside with friends, share laughter in the open world, and play happily.

Haykaal performs the song Hati Gembira, which is a creation of AT Mahmud, the maestro songwriter of Indonesian children's songs. AT Mahmud, who passed away in 2010, dedicated his career to creating songs for children, creating around 500 songs during his career. He is one of the recipients of the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Indonesian Music Awards (Anugerah Musik Indonesia).

2. Invite Indonesian Children to Play Joyfully in the Open Nature

Through the song Hati Gembira, Haykaal wants to invite all Indonesian children to play joyfully in the open nature. Nowadays, many Indonesian children are only focused on gadgets. They prefer to play games and watch videos on their gadgets.

Hati Gembira, released by the sub-label LULULALA, also hopes to bring back the glory of music and children's songs in Indonesia that have been fading for decades.
