Starting from Stuck Berkarya, d'Given Creates a New Song Titled 'It's Gonna Be Fine'

Kapanlagi.com - The new band, d'Given recently released their latest single titled It's Gonna Be Fine. Trying to stay productive during the pandemic, the song apparently was born from the restlessness of its members who wanted to create something fresher than before.

Producer 7thfloor once asked d'Given members, Tan (Vocalist), Dyda (Keyboardist), Adit (Bassist), and Nanda (Drummer) not to meet each other for 2 weeks. During that time, they were also asked not to use social media.

"We wanted our work to be heard honestly by those who listen. Just make a song that reflects what our friends often experience, not something heavy that makes you think when you listen. Thankfully, we were given the opportunity to convey our friends' stories in the form of music. That's all, we just want it to be heard honestly," said Tan when recently met.

The song It's Gonna Be Fine itself has lyrics that are fitting to stay motivated during this difficult pandemic. Tan also explains why the song title is in English, but the content is in Indonesian.

"According to us, the words it's gonna be fine are more universal and can reach everyone, and they also sound fun. So it's suitable for our song concept which wants to spread positive spirit to friends, especially in a situation like this," said Tan recently.

2. Not Taking Advantage of the Pandemic

However, Tan emphasizes that his latest song does not focus on the corona pandemic. He just wants to convey the concerns that he and his fellow musicians feel.

"Actually, if you say taking advantage, not really, because in a situation like this, no one wants it, and we don't know how long it will last. As musicians, we focus on creating. We made this song not to focus on the COVID-19 pandemic, but it started from my own stuck situation," he concluded.
