Release of Single 'Sayang', Sion and Rohan Simbolon Assisted by Former Personnel Pasto

One of their singles titled Kisah Kasih di Sekolah (The Love Story at School) became popular after being used as the soundtrack for the popular soap opera Dari Jendela SMP (From the Window of Junior High School).

Now, Pasto introduces a new single titled Sayang (Darling) by Indra Priyatno/ISW. The special thing is that the production process of this song also involves Raven Pono and Melto, who are former members of Pasto.

As known, Pasto has changed its personnel several times. And now, they come with a duo format led by siblings named Sion and Rohan Simbolon.

Sion and Rohan have indeed pledged to continue the relay baton from the former members to maintain the good name of Pasto. Therefore, these talented teenage duo receive full support from their seniors.

It took Sion and Rohan 2 days to complete the song Sayang. On the first day, the siblings received assistance from Rayen Pono to direct their vocals. Meanwhile, Melto took over on the second day of recording.

"It's really exciting, we were given a lot of positive advice to continue creating and trust us to carry on the name of Pasto in the Indonesian music industry," said Sion.

The main strength of the song Sayang lies in its lyrics and arrangement. This time, Pasto tries to present simple and easily digestible lyrics and arrangement that can be accepted by fans and music lovers in general.

"According to us, the advantage of this song lies in its simple and easy-to-remember lyrics and notation. We believe this song will boom," said Rohan.

"Like being a fan, as the kids nowadays say," added Sion while laughing.
