Kapanlagi.com - Good news for fans of TwoSet Violin. Through their official social media account, the duo of violinists consisting of Brett Yang and Eddy Chen announced that they will be holding a world tour concert in 2025--2026.

Not only that, TwoSet Violin also surprised fans with the announcement of a YouTube live stream to celebrate their second birthday in March. The live stream was initially scheduled for March 17, 2025, at 12:00 PM Singapore time. However, the schedule was postponed to the 25th due to reports that Brett suddenly fell ill in the morning.

TwoSet Violin is a duo of violinists who often share videos containing knowledge about classical music interspersed with comedy. This duo was founded by Brett and Eddy since 2013. Slowly but surely, TwoSet Violin's career as YouTubers has brought them to 4.32 million subscribers to date.

Brett and Eddy first met when they were teenagers at a math tutoring center. They later became known as the youngest members of the Australian Youth Orchestra and were accepted into the same college, namely the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University in Brisbane, Australia.

Before embarking on their journey as TwoSet Violin, both Brett and Eddy were actively involved as orchestra members in Australia. In 2012, Brett made his debut at the Queensland Conservatorium performing the Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto. He also performed with one of the orchestra teams in Australia for the G20 Summit in Brisbane in 2014.

Meanwhile, Eddy was a finalist in the National Young Virtuoso Award competition in Queensland in 2014. Eddy has also previously joined the Queensland Symphony Orchestra and the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra.

Brett and Eddy started their career as TwoSet Violin by uploading cover videos of pop music using only violin instruments. This duo was inspired by the numerous violin cover videos that successfully garnered millions of views on YouTube. At that time, they were still registered as players from different orchestra teams in Australia.

Several years later, Brett and Eddy decided to draw inspiration from Ray Chen, a professional violinist who often creates comedy videos on his YouTube channel. They left the Queensland Symphony Orchestra and Sydney Symphony Orchestra after gaining a massive viewership to fully focus on YouTube.

As of now, the total number of subscribers that TwoSet Violin has exceeds 4 million. Typically, they celebrate each milestone of a few million by holding live playing concerts featuring music for violin from various renowned composers. To celebrate 4 million subscribers, they presented the Mendelssohn Violin Concerto with the Singapore Symphony Orchestra.

After announcing a hiatus from YouTube until an undetermined time, TwoSet Violin has not completely disappeared from social media or real life activities. They have shared several updates on what they have been doing lately.

TwoSet Violin has been giving spoilers since February that they will be resuming their world tour starting in 2025. Brett and Eddy asked for the opinions of Ling Ling Wannabes, the name used to refer to their fans, regarding which cities in which countries they should visit.

On March 12, the official social media accounts of the duo comedian--violinist shared the concert schedule for their first tour of TwoSet Violin: The Sacrilegious Games. The schedule currently includes several performance dates in North America. For this world tour, TwoSet Violin will once again invite their friend named Sophie Druml, who is a pianist.

Unfortunately, the live stream originally scheduled for March 17, 2025, had to be postponed for a few days due to Brett's sudden health decline that morning.

It is known that both Brett and Eddy's birthdays occur in March. Brett Yang was born on March 3, 1992. Meanwhile, Eddy Chen was born exactly one year and 20 days later, on March 23, 1993.
