SZA Confirms Collaboration on Her Latest Music Project with Paramore Band

Hi KLovers! Recently, SZA has confirmed her collaboration on her latest music project with Hayley Williams from Paramore as the vocalist. This news has been confirmed through a video interview by Apple Music on Tuesday, January 30, 2024.

"So, people want to know if Paramore and SZA are working on a collaboration music? Yes! It's coming soon, it's in the works," SZA revealed.

"I love her voice. After about six years, today is finally here. I've been sending texts almost every week to SZA," Williams revealed in the Black People Love Paramore podcast, on the August 2023 episode. Finally, this American R&B singer confirmed again after six months of Hayley Williams' statement regarding the collaboration. This news is further strengthened after SZA and Hayley Williams showcased their closeness on social media.

SZA's song titled 'F2F' has a pop-punk sound and became her favorite song to perform during the SOS Tour. According to the Los Angeles Times, the song has a connection to Paramore, as SZA sought the opinion and approval of Hayley Williams, the lead vocalist of Paramore.

SZA also sent a snippet of the song via text before it was officially included in the album release of 'SOS'.

From her album titled 'SOS', SZA managed to receive a total of twenty-four nominations, including three major nominations at the peak of the 2024 Grammy Awards held on February 4th. The three main award nominations consist of Record of The Year for the song 'Kill Bill', Song of The Year for the song 'Kill Bill', and Album of The Year for 'SOS'.

The peak of the 2024 Grammy Awards took place at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. The event was also attended by other major musicians such as Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, Olivia Rodrigo, Travis Scott, U2, Billy Joel, Joni Mitchell, Luke Combs, and more.

Meanwhile, Paramore, who was previously rumored to have disbanded, dismissed the rumors by stating their involvement in the production of the Talking Heads tribute album titled 'Stop Making Sense'. Paramore is also the first artist out of sixteen musicians to be involved in the live album release of 1984, according to a statement released on Wednesday (10/1).
