Teddy Lee Introduces Single Titled 'Warnai Harimu' in Korean and Indonesian Version

Kapanlagi.com - Teddy Lee's name is known for his covers of popular Korean drama soundtrack songs, which are then translated into Indonesian through his YouTube channel. As it turns out, Teddy has also created several of his own works.

This time, Teddy introduces one of his own songs titled Warnai Harimu under the label Musik Bagus Indonesia. He dedicates this song specifically to his beloved wife who has always been by his side through thick and thin.

"This song is an expression of gratitude to my wife who has accompanied and supported me from the beginning until now. She is always there for me in both good and bad times. She is my inspiration," Teddy explains about his song.

1. Released in 2 Different Versions

Teddy prepared 2 versions for his song, namely Indonesian and Korean. The Korean version of the song was released first on April 17, 2021. He understands very well the enthusiasm of Indonesian people towards Korean songs is currently very high.

"I do like Korean songs and music. And I see that in Indonesia, many people create songs with a Korean flavor. I thought, why don't I incorporate that into my works? Then I also noticed that many people here make cover songs of Korean songs, but their pronunciation of the language is still not very good. That's why I made the Korean version, hoping that this song will be heard in Korea, so that people there can enjoy it more," explained Teddy.

Teddy took quite a long time to work on the song, around 3 months. He was assisted by several famous musicians, one of them being Daniel Gomgom as the Music Arranger and Music Producer. Warnai Harimu is packaged in a sweet Korean-style Pop genre that is easy listening and has easily digestible lyrics.

Armed with fluent Korean language skills, Teddy brought his family to Indonesia. His wife is described as a native Korean, so Teddy himself has to use two languages ​​in his daily life.

"In daily life, I do speak Korean at home because my wife is a native Korean, but outside the house, I usually speak Indonesian," he concluded.

Some of the Korean drama soundtracks that Teddy has covered in Indonesian include; the soundtracks of Reply 1988, Itaewon Class, Descendant of The Sun, Hospital Playlist, and many others.
