Kapanlagi.com - The band group The Soffia has just released their latest song titled 'Little Poem'. This song is a universal depiction of the sad story of parting with a loved one caused by fate or conflict.
In the process, Little Poem itself feels more special because of the involvement of people who have a great track record in the music industry. Moreover, this latest work by The Soffia is produced by former Slank guitarist, Pay Burman.
"Little Poem, the lyrics were written by Martin, and in the process, we had many discussions about the journey of Little Poem and there was the involvement of great people in the music industry," said Verdy when met at the Little Poem release party on the Phinisi ship in Jakarta, on Sunday night (12/17).
Martin, as the songwriter, explained that Little Poem is his expression of concern about various events happening today, especially the conflict in Gaza, Palestine. Therefore, through this song, the slogan 'Stop War Stand With Humanity' is expected to voice peace anywhere.
"Personally, as a songwriter, I want to express the concerns of our brothers and sisters wherever they are, that the conflict in Gaza is not because we are radical Muslims or supporting Palestine, but we support peace to happen, so #Stopwarstandwithhumanity is our slogan," said Martin on the same occasion.

Furthermore, there is an interesting fact behind the making of the music video for the song Little Poem. Various photos or videos in this music video were obtained directly from a Gaza contributor named Ahmed.
When asked further, Martin said that the latest information stated that Ahmed had passed away due to the war.
"I took photos and videos from one of the Gaza contributors, we bought them for our single," said Martin.
"Finally, I got the essence of one of the Gaza contributors, Ahmed, and the last time I communicated with him, he was no longer there, he had passed away," he concluded.

As information, the song 'Little Poem' was actually released on December 15, 2023. Then The Soffia held an intimate showcase event titled Toad To New Hope Fest, which was held on the Phinisi ship.
In addition to The Soffia, the event was also enlivened by several other bands, including Weekend By Avidance, No Gigs Still Party, Arie Tembako, and El Jono Jawanisty.
