Totality! BCL Performs 11 Minutes Non-Stop on the SCTV Anniversary Stage

Kapanlagi.com - Bunga Citra Lestari once again proves her status as one of the best entertainers in the country. During the peak night of SCTV's 35 Xtraordinary anniversary celebration, she delivered a performance that was not only vocally stunning but also spectacular in visuals and choreography.

Performing on a super grand outdoor stage on Sunday (24/8/2025) night, BCL successfully opened the event with an energetic performance lasting 11 minutes non-stop. She also expressed her admiration for the grandeur and sophistication of the stage prepared by SCTV this year.

"I just said earlier, it's really amazing," said BCL when met at the Emtek City Studio, Jakarta.

The 42-year-old singer shared how she performed three upbeat songs with full choreography from one end of the stage to the other. Although it made her sweat, she felt that all her hard work paid off when she saw the final result, which was so cool.

"I was there for the first opening (outdoor) with 3 dance songs for 11 minutes, and all the stage technicals were stable because it was a dance performance. Hydraulics and everything, and the lighting was also really amazing. Even though I was sweating because of the choreography from one end to the other, I thought it looked really cool," she explained.

Not only did she perform on the outdoor stage, but BCL also had the opportunity to showcase her melancholic side on the indoor stage. This dual-stage concept gave her the space to present two different sides of herself as an artist.

"There was outdoor and indoor. I was more upbeat and fun outdoors. Indoors, I got to do the ballad and intimate songs. I was also with Christie. I’m happy. As a performer, I’m happy," she said.

2. Happy to Share the Stage with Ahn Hyo Seop

As a fan of Korean dramas, BCL also admitted that she is happy to be in the same event with actor Ahn Hyo Seop. She even feels a connection with the actor who is also pursuing a career in acting and singing.

"Watching, watching. I’m a K-Drama lover. So he acts but can also sing. I say the same. I act and I sing too. Just maybe I’m more from the older generation, hehehe," she joked.

At the end of the conversation, BCL did not forget to send her best wishes for SCTV. She hopes this television station will continue to be at the forefront and produce quality works for the public.

"For SCTV, which is 35, it will definitely be more extraordinary. More successful, bigger, and become a TV station that is favored by the Indonesian people. Producing more good programs and works for all of us," she concluded.
