Video Game Concert Returns, Kevin Aprilio Proud to Collaborate with His Father

Kapanlagi.com - Twilite Orchestra, led by Addie MS, in collaboration with TipTip and East Ventures, will bring back the Video Game Concert. The event will be held at Istora Senayan, Central Jakarta, on July 27.

This concert is held again after the success of the previous Video Game Concert that took place at Ciputra Artpreneur on May 25. Addie MS admitted that he did not expect the previous Video Game Concert to receive such a huge response.

"That's what we didn't expect, the euphoria didn't stop on social media. They asked for the concert to be held again," said Addie MS when met in the SCBD area, Central Jakarta, on Wednesday (12/6).

"At first, we ignored it, but it didn't feel right to ignore it, so I asked TipTip and East Ventures to make it again, with their support," he added.

1. Addition of Festival Class

Unlike the previous performance, Addie MS ensures that the Video Game Concert in July will be much bigger. One significant change is the addition of a festival class, where the audience can enjoy the show while standing.

"If yesterday people were satisfied watching the show in an orderly manner, but now we have a lot of festival class. But it doesn't mean everyone is standing, there are still people sitting too," said Addie MS.

2. Many Cosplayers Present

The festival class is presented to provide a more immersive experience for the audience. Many audience members attended the previous concert in cosplay costumes, and the festival class allows them to enjoy the concert more expressively.

"Yesterday, there were a lot of people who came in costumes, as cosplayers. Imagine them being asked to sit while wearing those clothes. It's pitiful. With the festival class, they can come and enjoy the concert more expressively," said Addie.

3. Kevin Aprilio Will Also Perform

With a larger venue and a larger audience, Addie MS is also preparing more performers, one of whom is musician Kevin Aprilio. The keyboardist of the band Vierratale expressed his excitement about collaborating with his beloved father in the Video Game Concert.

"I am very happy to be able to perform again, and I am really happy to be able to collaborate with Papa who is always willing to listen to many inputs, especially from young members of many gaming communities," said Kevin.

"Everything is done to present beautiful and classy symphonic music that plays exciting video game songs. The songs presented in this concert are indeed the most popular ones," added Kevin.

The pre-sale tickets for the Video Game Concert have sold out. However, the organizers will sell the second phase of pre-sale tickets starting from June 14, 2024, through addiemsconcert.tiptip.id.
