In addition to Rhoma Irama, this concert is also intended to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Soneta Group.
Kapanlagi.com - In order to celebrate its 28th birthday, the music group NTRL held a virtual concert titled "Konser Virtual NTRL 28 Tahun" on the NTRL Official TV YouTube channel on Tuesday (15/12/2020).
A number of musicians from different genres participated in the "Konser Virtual NTRL 28 Tahun" concert, such as Gusti Hendy (drummer of GIGI), Fourtwnty, Gerald Situmorang (bassist of Barasuara), Endah N Rhesa, and Tuan13. Of course, with their presence, this concert becomes more interesting and exciting.
"We invited several guest stars, fellow musicians who will celebrate NTRL's 28th birthday. There's Hendi GIGI, Gerald, Fourtwnty, Tuan13. Each of them has a different genre, so it will be fun for everyone. So that our friends at home can be entertained," said Bagus, the vocalist and bassist of NTRL.
The "Konser Virtual NTRL 28 Tahun" lasted for approximately two hours. In their performance, Bagus, Coki, and Eno performed several of their hit songs, such as Lintang, Pertempuaran Hati, Hujan Dihatiku, Cahaya Bulan (Feat Gusti Hendy), Sorry (Feat Gerald Situmorang), Terbang Tenggelam (Endah N Rhesa), Sakit Jiwa, Walah, and Bacot (Feat Tuan13).

In between song changes, Bagus tells the career journey of his band from the beginning to this point. Initially, NTRL, previously known as Netral, was formed by Bagus and his high school friends. From there, they started seriously making demo songs and eventually recording.
"The journey was quite long, NTRL started from a high school band. At that time, me, Bimo (former NTRL drummer), and the late Miten (former NTRL guitarist) practiced together. After graduating from high school, we made a demo, offered it, and finally Indosemar Sakti accepted Netral (NTRL)," said Bagus.
NTRL has undergone several personnel changes, especially in the guitarist and drummer positions. In the early 2000s, the NTRL formation became more solid, which has remained the same since its formation, namely Bagus (bass), Coki (guitar), and Eno (drums).
"We made our first album in 1995 titled Walah, then continued with the albums Tidak Enak and Album Minggu Ini. In Album Minggu Ini, Bimo left, I searched for a drummer, and found Eno. Eno was officially confirmed in the 1998 album Paten. After that, Miren left. The two of us made The Best with additional help. We made the album Oke Deh.
In this formation, NTRL became more productive. They released several albums, such as Kancut, Hitam, Putih, 9th, The Story Of, Unity, 11/12, and XXV. In addition, in recent years, NTRL has also not been signed to a record label anymore, but they have created their own record label called Kancut Record.
"Om Cok joined and made the albums Kancut, Hitam, Putih. We left our label and created our own label, Kancut Record," concluded Bagus.
