Watched by Iriana Jokowi to Prabowo Subianto, Dewa19 Successfully Shakes JIS

Kapanlagi.com - Dewa 19's concert entitled Pesta Rakyat 30 Tahun Berkarya DEWA19 has just been held at Jakarta International Stadium (JIS), North Jakarta, on Saturday (4/2/2023). The concert, which lasted for approximately four hours, successfully entertained around 75 thousand spectators.

In the concert, Dewa19 sang a total of 38 songs in four sessions. In the first session, Dewa19 sang several songs together with two vocalists, namely Virzha and Marcello Tahitoe. Both vocalists sang Dewa19's songs simultaneously and alternately.

Together with Marcello Tahitoe, Dewa19 successfully mesmerized tens of thousands of spectators through the songs they performed. Starting from "Angin", "Arjuna", "I Want To Break Free", "Cinta Gila", "Juliette", "Aspirasi Putih", "Tak Ada Cinta Yang Lain", and "Sudah".

Not to be outdone by Marcello Tahitoe, Dewa 19 also successfully entertained the thousands of spectators who were present together with Virzha. Starting from "Sudah", "Pangeran Cinta", "Selimut Hati", "Larut", "Lagu Cinta", "Hadapi dengan Senyuman".

1. Mulan Jameela and Elvi Sukaesih

As the night went on, Dewa19's concert became more interesting. This is because they also collaborated with Elvi Sukaesih and Mulan Jameela. After that, the band The Lucky Laki also performed on stage. The band, consisting of Al, El, and Dul, sang songs like "Munajat Cinta" and "Bukan Superman".

Before closing their performance, Dul, as the vocalist of The Lucky Laki, expressed his gratitude to those who came to Dewa19's concert. Not only that, Dul also thanked the wife of President Joko Widodo, Iriana, who came to watch the concert.

It is known that this concert was also attended by state officials, such as the wife of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Iriana, Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto. Then, there were also Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY), Anies Baswedan, Fadly Zon, and Rocky Gerung who came to watch Dewa19's concert.

"Thank you very much to my father, to the tens of thousands of spectators who came to Jakarta International Stadium. And thank you to the wife of President Joko Widodo, Mrs. Iriana," said Dul from the stage.

2. Once Feels Like a Dream

After Lucky Laki, Dewa19 continues its action. In the second session, it's Once Mekel's turn, the second vocalist of Dewa 19, to continue the concert. In this concert, Once sang eight songs. Such as "Roman Picisan", "The Most Beautiful Woman in My Country", "Goddess", "Jealous", "Empty", "Message of the Heart", "Tears", and "Life is a Struggle".

The vocalist of Dewa19 from the albums Bintang Lima, Cintailah Cinta, Laskar Cinta, and Republik Cinta was surprised because most of the audience attending this concert were young people.

"Tonight feels like a dream for me, happy birthday to Dewa19. How is everyone here?" said Once Mekel from the stage.

"I see all the young people here. Those who came 20 years ago might now come with their children," continued Once.

3. Successful Concert

After Once, the Pesta Rakyat 30 Tahun Berkarya DEWA19 concert continued with their first vocalist, Ari Lasso. In this third session, Ari Lasso performed with former Dewa19 members, Wawan Juniarso, Wong Aksan, and Rere.

Together with Ari Lasso, Dewa19 sang 10 songs, such as "Cintakan Membawamu Kembali", "Elang", "Persembahan Dari Surga", "Tangis Terakhir", "Aku di Sini Untukmu", "Kirana", "Aku Milikmu", "Hampa", "Cukup Siti Nurbaya", and "Kangen".

Just as exciting as sessions one and two. In Ari Lasso's session, Dewa 19 brought one of the famous celebrities in the country, Andre Taulany. Together with the leader of The Prediksi motorcycle gang, Dewa 19 sang Stinky band's song, "Mungkinkah".

"If Dewa19 doesn't perform our own songs, there will be a guest star. This song is from 1997, this bad song can still be a hit," said Ahmad Dhani while calling Andre Taulany onto the stage.

"Who invited?" asked Ari Lasso.

"Mas Dhani invited. Hello everyone," said Andre Taulany as he stepped onto the stage.

Not only that, Ari Lasso also fulfilled a request from President Joko Widodo's wife, Ibu Iriana. In this concert, Iriana Jokowi requested Ari Lasso's song, "Hampa".

"Ahmad Dhani allowed me to perform the First Lady's request," said Ari Lasso.

In the final session, Dewa19 performed with all four of their vocalists, Virzha, Marcello Tahitoe, Once Mekel, and Ari Lasso. Together with four vocalists, Dewa 19 entertained thousands of spectators with songs "Pupus", "Kamulah Satu-Satunya", and "Separuh Nafas".
