Without Command, Abdee Slank Suddenly Held by Erick Thohir to Reveal Successful Entrepreneur Tips at Simpedes People's Party 2023

"I want to invite Mas Abdee, where is he? Slank is also an entrepreneur, can you give tips? Come on, how to succeed as an entrepreneur?" said Erick calling Abdee Slank at the Simpedes People's Party (PRS) of Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) in Pandaan, Pasuruan Regency, Sunday (27/8).

1. Call Abdee to the Stage

On that occasion, Erick spoke to the UMKM entrepreneurs who were called to the stage. They shared their experiences about products that successfully penetrated the export market. Abdee, who was backstage at the time, was asked by Erick to share his experience as an entrepreneur.

Abdee immediately appeared on stage and was greeted by the audience who filled Taman Chandra Wilwatikta Pandaan. Erick then urged Abdee to give tips to UMKM entrepreneurs to become more successful.

"The key is focus, first focus, second effort, hard work, continue to pursue what is desired," said Abdee Slank giving tips.

2. Praise for Bank BRI and Pegadaian

Erick attended the People's Party of Simpedes (PRS) Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) accompanied by the President Director of BRI, Sunarso. He appreciated BRI's commitment to UMKM development.

"It is already in almost 350 cities in Indonesia. But this is not a festive event, but how to build momentum, this Simpedes People's Party is also a party for those who want to succeed. Because here is the place where UMKM can display, as well as obtain information and innovation," said Erick.

Erick emphasized that BRI's consistency is not only as a bank but also PNM and Pegadaian, which are also strengths in developing UMKM. State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) and BRI in particular have a commitment to continuously develop UMKM.

"The BUMN Blueprint 2024-2034, one of them is to prioritize UMKM, in addition to how to continuously improve modern infrastructure and adapt to technology and green economy," he concluded.
