Mawada was accused of violating family values in Egypt with her Tik Tok video post, which was deemed inappropriate.
Not only Mawada, apparently there are 4 other influencer celebrities who were also arrested on similar charges.
Mawada is now sentenced to 2 years in prison and also fined hundreds of million rupiah.
Currently, the family is fighting for Mawada to be released from the punishment.
Mawada's sister said that what her sister did was not a criminal act that harmed others. According to her, Mawada should not be punished.
This case has become a hot topic among Egyptian citizens and netizens from around the world.
Anyway, judging from her posts, Mawada is also known as a young entrepreneur who is very successful at the age of only 22 years old.
