Throughout 2021, vivo has released two series of 5G ready smartphones, namely the X60 Series and vivo V21 Series. Both series can already support 5G networks, including band 40 in the frequency range of 2300 MHz used by Telkomsel.
"Not only from the chipset aspect, we ensure that other specifications on the vivo X60 Series and vivo V21 5G such as antennas, software, are also able to connect to 5G networks and provide the best experience," added Denny.
The X60 and X60 Pro series presented by vivo are equipped with the Qualcomm SD 870 5G SoC chipset. This chipset enables very fast 5G connectivity up to 7.5 Gbps, as well as wide accessibility with support for mmWave, Sub-6 GHz, TDD, FDD, and Dynamic Spectrum Sharing (DSS). In addition to being vivo's first smartphone collaboration with ZEISS, the vivo X60 Series is also the first 5G Ready smartphone from vivo in Indonesia this year.
Shortly after that, the V Series from vivo was released in May, namely the V21 5G series which is not only 5G Ready with the Mediatek Dimensity 800U System-on-Chip, but also has an elegant design as the thinnest 5G smartphone in the world!
The 5G network provided by Telkomsel can be enjoyed in 6 residential areas in Jakarta, such as Alam Sutera, Bumi Serpong Damai, Kelapa Gading, Pondok Indah, Pantai Indah Kapuk, and Widya Chandra. In the near future, this 5G service will also be available in other big cities such as Batam, Bandung, Denpasar, Makassar, Medan, Solo, and Surabaya.
