Prof. dr. Abdul Muthalib, Sp.PD-KHOM was born in Jakarta on January 3, 1945.

Dr. Abdul also serves as a Staff of the Medical Hematology Oncology Division, Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo National Central General Hospital. Previously, he was a Professor of Internal Medicine as reported on the official website of the University of Indonesia.

In addition to being an active doctor, Abdul also writes books on breast cancer treatment. In 1999, he received an award from the Asian Clinical Oncology Society.

Abdul studied at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia in 1969 and later became a consultant in Medical Hematology-Oncology at FKUI/RSCM in 1986.
