Nani is a resident of Sukaasih Hamlet, Buniwangi Village, Palasah District, Majalengka Regency, West Java. She was arrested after the police conducted an investigation into the case for 4 days.

"After four days of investigation, we successfully narrowed it down to one person and on Friday (4/30) we managed to arrest NA, a private employee from Majalengka," said Direskrimum Polda DIY Kombes Burkan Rudy Satria during a press conference at Mapolres Bantul, Monday (5/3/2021).

Apparently, the motive behind making the poisonous satay was because of his frustration with his lover, Aiptu Tomi, who left him. It is known that Aiptu Tomi already has a wife.

Nani wanted to teach Tomi a lesson. After asking for advice from a friend, it was suggested to poison Tomi with satay seasoning mixed with KCn poison (Potassium Cyanide) with the intention of causing diarrhea.

He ordered the satay offline, but it was rejected by Aiptu Tomi's wife who claimed she didn't order the satay. The satay was eventually given to a motorcycle taxi driver which turned out to be a tragedy, as the driver's child died after consuming the satay.
