BRI Takes Concrete Steps to Support the National Football Ecosystem, Provides Bus for the Garuda Squad

BRI Provides Bus for the Mobilization of the Garuda Squad

Real support for the National Team to be reckoned with on the world stage was also given by PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BRI. In order to facilitate the mobilization of the Garuda Squad in their activities, one form of support provided was the provision of 1 unit bus as a vehicle for the Indonesian National Team.

At the bus handover ceremony held at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (18/06), Deputy Chairman of PSSI Zainudin Amali stated that this bus will be used by all age groups in the Indonesian National Team. Furthermore, Amali expressed great appreciation to BRI for meeting the needs of the National Team that had not been realized since 2020.

"BRI provides support to the Indonesian National Team for the benefit of the team. Since 2020, we have not had a bus and suddenly BRI provides support. On behalf of the Chairman of PSSI, I express my thanks and appreciation to BRI," said Amali.

The same appreciation was conveyed by BRI's Small and Medium Business Director Amam Sukriyanto to PSSI, who had provided an opportunity for BRI to be part of the development and transformation of Indonesian football. Amam hopes that this support can have a positive impact on the national football competition climate, so that talented young talents will continue to emerge and ultimately drive Indonesia's football achievements on the world stage.

"BRI continues to support the improvement and transformation of national football being carried out by PSSI."

And BRI's support in the form of a bus for the National Team is one form of BRI's total commitment to supporting soccer and its ecosystem," said Amam.

Soccer Provides Positive Impact on the Economy

Amam continued that BRI sees soccer as the most popular sport among the people in Indonesia and even the world, and this is in line with BRI's profile, which has a desire to serve the community as much as possible with the most efficient costs. Therefore, soccer is an effective means to increase BRI's brand exposure as well as its services and products.

Soccer also has a positive impact on the economy for the people, especially in reviving the chain of the people's economy. "Soccer can also increase UMKM actors related to it, so this support is in line with BRI's mission to develop UMKM in the homeland," he concluded.
