BSI Distributes Digital Literacy for Active Users of the BYOND SuperApp in the Jabodetabek Shopping Area

Kapanlagi.com - Through digital literacy activities in several shopping centers in the Jabodetabek area, PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk (BSI) is increasingly bringing the BYOND SuperApp closer to the general public, especially the younger generation.

These digital literacy activities were held by BSI in seven shopping centers in Jabodetabek (Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi) from November 11 to 24, 2024. The seven malls are FX Mall South Jakarta, Summarecon Mall Bekasi, Kemang Village, Pondok Indah Mall, Margo City Depok, Living World Cibubur, and Kota Kasablanka from November 25 to December 8, 2024.

SEVP Digital Banking BSI Saut Parulian Saragih stated that the roadshow activities in several malls are one of the company's efforts to bring BYOND by BSI closer to the community. In addition, it also provides literacy related to modern, fast, and secure Islamic banking digital services that are now closer to users.

“Currently, active users of BYOND by BSI are dominated by young people and millennials. Therefore, we must continue to socialize through the existing customer ecosystem and new customers, as well as collaborate with various parties to accelerate the adoption of BYOND by BSI,” he said.

Saut explained that more than 55% of active users of BYOND by BSI are young people. This aligns with the presence of the superapp as a platform that is not just a banking application but also a financial, social, and spiritual companion that accompanies customers in various aspects of their lives.

Saut added that about 97% of BSI customers have shifted transactions using e-channel services, including BYOND by BSI, BSI Net, BSI ATM, and BSI Agents spread across Indonesia.

This indicates that digital channels have become a lifestyle for people in today's digital era. Moreover, Saut continued, BYOND by BSI has become the spearhead for BSI to serve the increasingly sophisticated and diverse needs of customers.

“Therefore, we present BYOND by BSI, a superapp that can facilitate financial, social, and spiritual services ranging from opening accounts, investment services to ZISWAF sharing services. In line with its tagline #EverythingBecomesEasy, with BYOND by BSI, everything becomes easy for anyone, anytime, and anywhere," he concluded.

BYOND by BSI offers many interesting programs for customers who open savings accounts or transact through BYOND by BSI. New BYOND by BSI customers can receive cashback of up to Rp125 thousand and free BI Fast transaction fees. Existing customers who switch to the BYOND application also receive additional benefits when transacting using QRIS BYOND by BSI, such as cashback of up to 50% with a maximum of Rp50 thousand at selected merchants like Kopi Kenangan, Hokben, Chatime, Kenangan Signature, J.Co, Chigo & flip, Mako, Sour Sally, Bolo King, and others.

Additionally, there is also the Cashback Promo Friday Blessing program at BYOND by BSI for paying PDAM, Internet, and cable TV, as well as insurance.
