1. Local Competition will be Held in 6 Cities with the Theme of Traditional Bridal and Commercial Look

WPMC this time is different from previous events. Because, in this 2024 local competition, there are two makeup look themes that will be competed. First, there is the Traditional Bridal theme that showcases the characteristics of a certain region or tribe. Usually, this makeup look is used for wedding events with traditional clothing from the region. Although it falls into the traditional category, this makeup can create a timeless look and highlight the natural beauty with bold lip colors.

Second, there is the Commercial Look theme, which tends to be more flawless, simple, and casual. This makeup is commonly used for shootings, events, and various other occasions. Different from other makeup looks, the Commercial Look focuses more on colors, so makeup artists must determine the appropriate colors according to the concept in order to achieve a real and distinctive result.

2. The Grand Finalists from the Local Competition will Compete Again in the Grand Final

From all the participants competing in the Traditional and Commercial makeup look categories, one person will be selected from each city for each category. So, there will be a total of 12 participants from 6 different cities who will compete again in the grand final with the International Bridal category to vie for the positions of Grand Winner, Runner Up 1&2, Most Favorite 1&2, and Top Instagram Vote.

3. Held in Jakarta with a Theme of International Bridal Makeup Skills Showcase

The grand final stage will be held in Jakarta in September 2024. With their skills, the twelve participating MUAs will compete again in the International Bridal category.

For your information, the International Bridal category is usually used for weddings with a Western or international concept. With a soft glam result, this makeup look focuses on complexion and soft nude colors to create a beautiful natural makeup look, as well as a healthy, fresh, and glowing skin appearance. 4. Benefits for MUA and Beauty Enthusiasts Participating in WPMC 2024

Through WPMC 2024, participating MUA and beauty enthusiasts can enjoy many advantageous benefits. Starting from a total prize of tens of millions of rupiah, ULTIMA II product packages, to endorsement contracts and exposure in the media.

If you win in the local competition, the first place winner will receive a cash prize of Rp3 million, ULTIMA II products worth Rp1 million, and beauty tools. The second place winner will receive a cash prize of Rp2 million, ULTIMA II products worth Rp500 thousand, and beauty tools. The third place winner will receive a cash prize of Rp1.5 million, ULTIMA II products worth Rp500 thousand, and beauty tools. Lastly, the favorite winner will receive ULTIMA II products worth Rp1 million.

If qualified, the 12 Grand Finalists from this local competition will have the opportunity to receive pocket money. Meanwhile, the Grand Winner will receive a cash prize of Rp15 million, ULTIMA II products worth Rp12 million, beauty tools worth Rp10 million, as well as endorsement content and publisher exposure. The Runner Up 1&2 will receive a cash prize of Rp10 million, ULTIMA II products worth Rp10 million, beauty tools worth Rp10 million, as well as endorsement content and publisher exposure.

5. Registration Procedure

This competition will be held in several cities, such as:
- Jakarta (June 24 - July 7, 2024) at Atrium Metropolitan Mall Bekasi,
- Pekanbaru (July 29 - August 4, 2024) at Atrium MDS Mall SKA Pekanbaru;
- Medan (July 22 - 28, 2024) at Atrium MDS Medan Fair;
- Surabaya (July 30 - August 4, 2024) at MDS Atrium Delta Plaza Surabaya;
- Bandung (July 29 - August 4, 2024) at Atrium Metro Trans Studio Mall Bandung;
- Solo (August 26 - September 1, 2024) at Atrium MDS Solo Square;
- Grand Final (September 23, 2024) in Jakarta.

For those interested in participating, here are the registration procedures that need to be known:
1. Registration starts on May 18, 2024 at 10:00 AM WIB.
2. Participants must purchase tickets worth IDR 200,000 at all ULTIMA II counters in Matahari, Metro, Sogo, Yogya, or other department stores (Chandra, Star, Citrus, AEON, and Rambla).
3. Participants will receive ULTIMA II vouchers worth IDR 150,000, trial size products, and competition tickets that can be exchanged for snacks during the competition.
4. After the transaction at the ULTIMA II counter, participants MUST register through the Beauty Advisor at that counter.
5. Participants will be asked to agree to the WPMC 2024 Code of Conduct on the registration form.
6. Participants will be provided with schedule and location information starting from the Local Competition to the Grand Final of WPMC 2024.
