Crazy Rich Malang Building Covid-19 Field Hospital

Kapanlagi.com - Crazy Rich Malang, Gilang Widya Pramana intends to build a hospital for Covid-19 patients. The land located in Malang City, covering an area of about 2 hectares, has been prepared with an initial capacity of around 100 beds.

“There is good intention from us, which is to build an emergency hospital in Malang. I have conveyed this initiative to the Mayor, the Chief of Police, and stakeholders in Malang. We are trying our best to make it happen, so that we can help many residents affected by Covid-19,” said Gilang Widya Pramana at Malang City Hall, on Tuesday (27/7).

Gilang claimed to have found the right location for the construction of the hospital. He hopes to assist the people of Malang Raya, especially in the management and prevention of Covid-19.

“I provide the facilities, but the city government will be in charge of running it. The city government is currently preparing everything, including how the patients will be billed. I am only initiating and facilitating, providing the facilities,” he explained.

Currently, it is still in the discussion stage with the City Government and other stakeholders. Because it still has to go through several stages, including permits and the provision of facilities and healthcare workers.

“It is clear that we are still waiting for guidance from the Mayor. It is still being consulted with the Minister of Health and the National Disaster Management Agency. We are preparing healthcare workers, preparing permits, and also preparing facilities and infrastructure,” he said.

Meanwhile, Ali Rifki, the Finance Director of J99 Corp, revealed that there is a process that must be gone through for the establishment of a field hospital. The good intention has been conveyed to stakeholders in Malang, and the realization of this idea depends on many parties, including permits from the government.

“Pray that it will soon be realized because there are many processes that need to be followed. It's not as easy as what we want to be finished in a week or two. The stages must be passed,” said Ali accompanying Gilang.

Gilang himself came to the Malang City Hall to deliver assistance to the affected community and those undergoing centralized self-isolation (Isoter). The assistance was symbolically handed over to a representative of the family.

In the social assistance provided by Gilang to the government for the centralized self-isolation community, Crazy Rich Malang received a lot of support from netizens.
