Emtek Officially Becomes the Owner of the Indonesian National Team Broadcasting Rights for 2024, Total Deal Worth IDR 75 Billion

PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi, Tbk (EMTEK) through PT Surya Citra Media, Tbk (SCM) has successfully won the tender for the broadcasting rights of the Indonesian national team for the year 2024. This news was officially announced by the Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI).

The total deal for the broadcasting rights is worth IDR 75 billion. This value is higher than the broadcasting rights value for 2023, which is IDR 56 billion. The broadcasting rights include the matches of the Indonesian national team and domestic grassroots amateur level competitions, youth competitions, and women's football.

"In addition to the broadcasting rights value, there are certainly other criteria that we consider after going through a series of internal considerations at PSSI. One of them is the 'Added Value in the form of programs and special content that are beneficial to the community' offered by the winner of this tender," according to Erick Thohir in his official statement.

"We are not only focusing on the value and matches of the Indonesian national team, but we also look at other things offered by the tender participants that can be an added value to the overall management of matches in PSSI. For the first time, Indonesian football fans can see how young talents from 38 provinces in Indonesia compete in the Piala Soeratin U-15 and Piala Soeratin U-17."
