The main hope of this event is to encourage the batik industry to revive amid the pandemic. It cannot be denied that the batik industry, which is dominated by MSMEs, has been severely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic that has hit the world.

Batik is known as a fabric commonly worn on formal occasions and it is often difficult to find a tailor who can turn it into a nice outfit. That's what we want to break from the collaboration with Danjyo.

The designer creates ready-to-wear clothes using batik fabric that can be worn on many occasions. The style is light, with beautiful Tarakan batik colors.

2. Held in October

The Magnificent 11 event itself will be held in October. However, some of Danjyo Hyoji's works with the Tarakan Regional Government can already be seen starting now.

"Fimela Magnificent 11 is a series of events to celebrate Fimela's 11th anniversary in October. We chose this theme because we are aware that 2020-2021 is a difficult year. Every day we receive mostly negative news. We believe that even in the worst situations, there are still good things happening," said Amelia Ayu Kinanti, Editor in Chief of Fimela.com.
