Help Fight Covid-19, Emtek Cares for Corona Distributes Thousands of Food Packages Through Bukalapak Partners

Some individuals and institutions never tire of providing assistance to those affected by Covid-19, such as the Yayasan Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih (YPP) through the Emtek Cares for Corona program.

YPP also continues to collaborate with several government agencies, the TNI and POLRI, as well as ministries to participate in suppressing the spread of the coronavirus. Yesterday, on Tuesday (16/6), Mr. Imam Sujarwo, the Chairman of YPP and also the President Director of Indosiar, met directly with the Minister of Research and Technology, Mr. Bambang PS Brodjonegoro, for another social action.

Mr. Imam Sujarwo signed an MOU to distribute donations by producing 80 Ventilators, 4,000 PCR Test Kits, and 4,000 Rapid Test Kits worth Rp 3.5 billion.

1. Distribution of Aid

The distribution of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is still ongoing until Thursday (18/6). This time, the aid is intended for RSI Namira Mataram, West Nusa Tenggara. The aid includes 100 hazmat suits, 50 foot covers, 500 surgical masks, 60 N95 masks, 50 face shields, 50 safety goggles, 500 safety gloves, and 500 cloth masks.

On the same day, YPP also handed over 3,500 food packages to 50 Bukalapak Partners in several Jabodetabek areas. Later, the food packages will be distributed to eligible communities around the Bukalapak Partners' areas.

Some selected Bukalapak Partners this week to distribute the food packages include Warung Selamet on Jl. Ampera RT 05/10 NO 15 Kemang, South Jakarta, and Warung Zelin 2020 on Jl. Tanah Pasih NO 41 RT 02 RW 011 Penjaringan, North Jakarta. The same amount will also be distributed to other Bukalapak Partners in the following week.

The hope is that these food packages can be received correctly according to the distribution target, thus alleviating the economic burden on communities affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The total number of food packages to be distributed through 50 Bukalapak Partners is 10,000, and it will be completed by the end of June 2020.
