"How could they add sidewalks to a road that is already not wide enough for two cars?" he said.

James, a longtime visitor from Melbourne, Australia, also voiced his frustration.

"I have been visiting Bali for the past 15 years, but now it feels like the traffic situation has reached a critical point."

"The traffic difficulties in Canggu are becoming uncontrollable with the addition of these sidewalks," he added.

"This is no longer paradise. Bali has become an uncomfortable holiday destination, offering nothing to tourists except endless traffic views."

Canggu's evolution from a traditional village to an international community offering luxury villas, high-end restaurants, and thriving businesses is now facing significant management issues from authorities.

Infrastructure problems such as irregular cables, inadequate roads, and lack of functioning water systems in some areas have made residents and businesses struggle with daily challenges, even forcing them to seek independent solutions.
