The Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) DKI Jakarta reported that as of Wednesday morning (29/1/2025), dozens of neighborhood units (RT) and dozens of road sections were submerged with water levels reaching 1 meter, at least until 10:00 WIB.
West Jakarta has become the most severely affected area, with 32 RT trapped in waterlogging. East Jakarta is also experiencing a similar fate, where one RT in Bidara Cina Village is inundated with water levels of 30 to 80 centimeters.
"We have recorded that currently flooding is occurring in 33 RT and 20 road sections," said Mohamad Yohan, Head of the Data Information and Communication Center (Kapusdatin) of BPBD DKI Jakarta.
