LPS Presents The 46th Jazz Goes to Campus Successfully Held, Featuring Special Performances from a Range of Stars - Check out the Event Information

Kapanlagi.com - LPS Presents The 46th Jazz Goes to Campus has been successfully held, KLovers. This event is an annual activity organized by the students of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), University of Indonesia. The peak event of JGTC was successfully held at the FEB UI Campus, Depok on (12/11/23) last month.

In its 46th year, Jazz Goes to Campus successfully presented a festival experience to 10,000 jazzmates (the term for JGTC audience) with four magnificent stages featuring a range of special performances from local and international musicians.

This year, LPS Presents The 46th Jazz Goes to Campus brought the idea of preserving the JGTC tradition as a platform for young Indonesian musicians to express themselves through creativity, especially music, with the theme Harmonizing The Jazz Legacy.

1. LPS Presents The 46th Jazz Goes to Campus

Jazz Goes to Campus has preserved the existence of jazz through various series of events, KLovers. Starting from Roadshow Special UI, Workshop, Mendadak Jazz Vol. 1 and 2, to the Festival.

JGTC also consistently appreciates local jazz musicians through the JGTC Choice Awards program designed in collaboration with the Indonesian Jazz Forum. There are several award categories presented to selected musicians, KLovers.

The list of musicians and communities who have won awards this year includes Barry Likumahuwa as Artist of the Year, Vira Talisa with her album Bloomingtale as Album of the Year, Jazz Kemayoran Community with the Lifetime Achievement category, Natasya Elvira as Newcomer of the Year, and Jason Mountario as Young Talent of the Year. Every year, the JGTC Choice Awards are consistently held as a component of the festival's program, you know.

2. Special Performances at LPS Presents The 46th Jazz Goes to Campus

The LPS Presents The 46th Jazz Goes to Campus event was enlivened by various special performances. There were performances by Jazz musicians, of course. A series of other capital city artists, such as Tulus, Ahmad Dhani Electric Band, Barry Likumahuwa & The Rhythm Service feat. Candra Darusman, Maliq D'Essentials, Mahalini, Fariz Rm, and Yura Yunita also enlivened the event.

In addition, the peak of the LPS Presents The 46th Jazz Goes to Campus event was also enlivened by the performances of international musicians Charlie Burg and Sheila Majid feat Tohpati.

The series of LPS Presents The 46th Jazz Goes to Campus events was successfully organized by the committee, which consists of FEB UI students. Behind the excitement of yesterday's peak event, there were certainly some challenges faced by FEB UI students as the organizers. 'There's always a place to grow'. The shortcomings in each series of events can be used as an evaluation to provide the best results at the peak of the event.
