NEW KELUARGA SOMAT is Back! The First AI-Based Animation Series on Indonesian TV

This series represents a major step for the entertainment and technology world in Indonesia. The project is born from a cool collaboration between the creative team of Indosiar and the technology team of Vidio, which successfully combines a story full of life messages with an AI-based production process.

NEW KELUARGA SOMAT becomes the first animation series on television and streaming in Indonesia produced using AI-based production technology through a platform created by the Vidio team in collaboration with Google called VidioGen, an AI-based production platform developed by the Vidio team with support from Google Cloud's AI technology. This technology helps accelerate the animation process, expands visual flexibility, and increases efficiency, without losing the distinctive touch and cultural values that are the essence of Keluarga Somat.

Developed by the creative team of Indosiar, NEW KELUARGA SOMAT tells the story of a simple family from Central Java who moves to the outskirts of a big city and must adapt to modern life. This story is close to the reality of urban Indonesian society facing the challenges of modernization, while still upholding the values of family and mutual assistance.

The Keluarga Somat series has previously won awards from the Indonesian Broadcasting Commission in 2015, 2016, and 2020 as the Best Animation Program and has also won the Panasonic Gobel Award in 2017 and 2018 in the Children's Program category.
