Open Golf Tournament & Charity Scholarship IKA UII 2025, A Platform for Sharing for the Future of Education

Kapanlagi.com - In the spirit of sharing and strengthening access to education in Indonesia, the Alumni Family Association of Universitas Islam Indonesia (IKA UII) is once again organizing the Open Golf Tournament & Charity Scholarship IKA UII 2025. This event will take place at Damai Indah Golf, Bumi Serpong Damai (BSD), South Tangerang city, from 07:00 to 12:00 WIB.

Carrying the spirit of "Mobilizing Hope, Realizing Educational Scholarships", this activity not only serves as a sports and social gathering platform for alumni, but also as a fundraising venue for multi-level scholarships ranging from high school, bachelor's, master's, doctoral, to certified skills education for outstanding students and scholars in need of financial support.

The Chairman of the Central Leadership Council of IKA UII, Dr. Ari Yusuf Amir, S.H., M.H., in his speech stated that this event is part of the efforts of UII alumni to pave the way for a decent and sustainable education for the younger generation.

"Through this event, we together mobilize hope and channel our concern towards a noble goal, which is to realize educational scholarships that reach all layers. Not only for university students but also for high school students and those who wish to enhance their professional skills through certified education," he said.

Dr. Ari also emphasized that education is not only a right but also a shared moral responsibility. He quoted a message from one of the founders of UII and the Proclamator of the nation, Bung Hatta, who said: "Education is not just to make people smart, but to make people useful for others."

This message becomes the breath of our collective struggle. Therefore, IKA UII is determined that this scholarship support becomes a sustainable movement that produces knowledgeable, integrity-filled generations ready to serve the nation.

On the same occasion, the Chairperson of the Open Golf Tournament & Charity Scholarship IKA UII 2025, Bayu Widdhisiadji, S.E., M.M., stated that this tournament is not only a sports competition but also a platform to strengthen networking and solidarity among alumni.

"This tournament serves as a space for togetherness to strengthen the bonds of friendship while channeling positive energy for education. Every swing of the golf club today carries great meaning in opening opportunities for the children of the nation to continue their education to the highest levels or to acquire skills that can change their future," said Bayu.

The funds raised from the Open Golf Tournament & Charity Scholarship IKA UII 2025 will be allocated in the form of a sustainable scholarship program, which includes high school scholarships for outstanding students from underprivileged families, and high school scholarships for outstanding students from underprivileged families.

Additionally, there are scholarships for undergraduate, master's, and doctoral programs for UII students and those outside UII who demonstrate a commitment to the development of knowledge and community service. Certified Skills Education Scholarships, to support the youth and the general public in obtaining technical training, vocational skills, and work competencies that are professionally recognized.
