In 2020, Bank BRI once again presents the Simpedes People's Party (PRS) event. Unlike previous years, for the first time this event will be held virtually.
"Because it is now virtual, the challenge is to make it more interesting and of course not to leave behind the philosophy of the Simpedes People's Party itself," said Fita Arisanti, Vice President of Micro Business Policy at Bank BRI during a virtual press conference on Friday (11/9).
"So the hope is that in this current situation, people can still be entertained but also benefit themselves and those around them. The difference is that there is no applause, you know," continued Fita Arisanti.
PRS 2020 will be held virtually with 10 episodes starting from September to December. Several musicians will perform including Padi Reborn, Cokelat, Kotak, Via Vallen, Gigi, Slank, and many more.
For the first episode which will be held tomorrow, Saturday (12/9), PRS 2020 will feature Padi Reborn, Cokelat, and also Daniel Mananta who will share about his efforts.
"The premiere will start from tomorrow, September 12th. There will also be Daniel Mananta who will share about UMKM (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises). Tomorrow's theme is Proud of Indonesian products," said Fita Arisanti.
PRS 2020 continues the tradition through the 6P concept (Stage, Market, Parade, Harvest, Xsis Corner, Care) which is the trademark of Pesta Rakyat Simpedes (Simpedes People's Party). "Pesta Rakyat Simpedes is a company program that was first conducted in 2008. This event is a manifestation of Bank BRI's concern and participation in various aspects of national development, ranging from nationalism, culture, tourism, education, and UMKM (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) which are divided into talk shows, workshops, artist performances, and also the drawing of the Panen Hadiah Simpedes (Simpedes Harvest Prize) program," explained Supari, Director of Micro Business at Bank BRI.
The Simpedes Harvest Prize is always eagerly awaited by customers because of its extraordinary prizes. Bank BRI has prepared a total of 19,219 prizes ranging from motorcycles, cars to a house.
"I mention the biggest prize, there are already 400 cars. The chances are greater because it is drawn at each branch office. There is also a house, you know. There are branch offices that provide house prizes and it is drawn twice a year," Fita Arisanti concluded.
