Arrested for rape cases in 2017, Reynhard Sinaga, during questioning, made one detective describe him as a sociopath, "Throughout the interrogation, he always answered 'no comment'. He feels no guilt, no remorse, no empathy, or sympathy."

Prosecutor Goodard mentioned that the victims would not suspect Reynhard's approach. Because he appeared like an ordinary student. He usually only talked about music or campus life. Moreover, looking at Reynhard's smaller body compared to most British men, they did not feel threatened when invited to his apartment.

Reynhard Sinaga himself was examined for allegedly raping 195 men over a period of about 2.5 years. He even had recordings of his actions with all the victims.

Inspector Zed Ali revealed that Reynhard is someone who, "He looks good, has a good appearance, and speaks softly." According to him, he is very different from the typical portrayal of a rapist. In fact, because of Reynhard's seemingly lack of guilt, Inspector Ali referred to him as a psychopath.

Reynhard Sinaga himself lived on his parents' expenses, as evidenced by the apartment provided by his parents and during his stay in England, this man has only ever had one part-time job. His family is quite well-off, coming from a business background and living in Depok.

Reynhard himself received a good education, after completing his undergraduate studies in one of the prestigious universities majoring in Architecture, he continued his postgraduate studies in the UK.

Reynhard's parents consider him to be an intelligent and diligent person in worship. His parents revealed that they had no knowledge of their son's sexual orientation. Even his friends consider the 38-year-old man to be friendly and easy-going.

Inspector Ali further revealed that Reynhard was diligent in going to church and volunteering, and was also active in the worship process, and attended as a mentor. He admitted feeling comfortable there because the church accepted him as a gay person and a foreigner.

Reynhard Sinaga also mentioned to his friend that he tried to stay in England as long as possible because he didn't want to go back to Indonesia.

"He lived with two different sides for 10 years where his friends saw him as a Casanova (not a rapist)," Inspector Ali said.
