2. Recommended Time for Hajat Prayer

Hajat prayer should be performed with 2 to 12 rak'ahs. Each 2 rak'ahs should be accompanied by salam. It can be performed at any time, except during the prohibited times for performing prayer. The recommended times for Hajat prayer are:

-After Fajr prayer until sunrise

-After Asr prayer until sunset

-The best time to perform Hajat prayer is at night, especially in the last third of the night.

3. Intention and Procedure for Hajat Prayer

The intention for Hajat prayer is silently made in the heart, as usual. Here is the recitation:

"Ushollii sunnatal haajati rok'aataini lillahi ta'ala."

Meaning:

"I intend to perform the sunnah Hajat prayer of two rak'ahs for the sake of Allah Ta'ala."

Procedure for Hajat Prayer

The procedure for Hajat prayer is not different from other prayers. The difference lies in the intention. Here is the summarized procedure from various sources.

1. Recite the intention

2. Recite the opening supplication and Surah Al-Fatihah

3. Recite a short surah

4. Perform the bowing (ruku) with tranquility

5. Stand up straight after bowing (i'tidal) with tranquility

6. Prostrate (sujud) with recitation of tranquility

7. Sit between the two prostrations with tranquility

8. Perform the second prostration with tranquility

9. Perform the second rak'ah similar to the first rak'ah, but recite Ayat Al-Kursi instead of a short surah.

After performing the worship according to the prayer time for Hajat, you are encouraged to recite prayers. It is even better if after the salutation, you prostrate with the intention of tadzallul, humbling yourself before Allah SWT.

"Subhahanallah walhamdulillah walaailaaha illallah waallahu akbar walaa haula wa quwwata illaa billahil 'aliiyil 'adzim." (10 times)

Afterwards, you can recite the following:

"Allahumma sholli 'alaa sayyidina Muhammad wa 'alaa ali sayyidina Muhammad." (10 times)

Finally, recite the prayer for the safety of the world and the hereafter with the following recitation:

"Rabbanaa aatinaa fidunyaa hasanah wa fil'akhirati hasanah wa qinaa 'adzaaban nar."

After the prayer for Hajat, continue with the following prayer:

"LAA ILAHA ILLALLOHUL HAKIIMUL KARIIMU SUBHAANALLOHI ROBBIL 'ARSYIL AZHIIM.ALHAMDU LILLAAHI ROBBIL AALAMIIN.AS ALUKA MUUJIBAARI ROHMATIKA WA 'AZAAIMA MAGHFIROTIKA WAL GHONIIMATA MING KULLI BIRRI WASSALAAMATA MING KULLI ITSMIN LAA TADA LII DZAMBAN ILLA GHOFARTAHU WALAA HAMMAN ILLAA FAROJTAHU WALAA HAAJATAN HIYA LAKA RIDHON ILLA QODHOITAHAA YAA ARHAMAR ROOHIMIIN."

Meaning: "There is no god but Allah, the Most Gentle and Most Compassionate. Glory be to Allah, the Lord of the Great Throne. All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of all worlds. I ask You for something that requires Your mercy, and something that brings Your forgiveness and gains benefit from every goodness. Do not let sins from me, except that You forgive and there is no need, except that You provide a way out, and there is no desire that receives Your consent, except that You grant it. O Lord, Most Merciful and Compassionate."
