Realizing Social Responsibility, Le Minerale Establishes Cooperation with Istiqlal Mosque

This collaboration, embodying the spirit of independence, was formalized through the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) by the Istiqlal Mosque Management Agency represented by the Grand Imam of Istiqlal Mosque, Nasaruddin Umar, and PT Tirta Fresindo Jaya (Mayora Group) represented by Riko Sistanto. The signing was also attended by Le Minerale's Marketing Director, Febri Satria Hutama, and the President Director of Istiqlal Global Fund, Mulyono Lodji.

Riko Sistanto, Sales & Marketing Director of PT Tirta Fresindo Jaya, explained that Le Minerale, as an original Indonesian product, is committed to building positive values by upholding the noble values of religion, Pancasila, and nationalism. Le Minerale believes that this collaboration plays a significant role in spreading the noble values that define the nation.

"Based on this, we are committed to building these positive values, which are realized in proud activities to inaugurate the cooperation between Le Minerale and Istiqlal Mosque," Riko stated during his speech in Jakarta on Friday (9/8).

On this occasion, Nasaruddin Umar also expressed his appreciation to Le Minerale for its dedication to bringing goodness to the Indonesian community. Moreover, Nasaruddin Umar stated that Le Minerale is an original Indonesian product.

"We are also encouraged to love Indonesia by loving domestic products and appreciating Indonesian creations. If someone donates water, it means donating something essential for human life. It should not be rejected." I think this is a very good form of cooperation," he said.

Also present at this event was the Deputy Secretary General of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI), Arif Fahrudin. He stated that it is appropriate for Istiqlal Mosque to collaborate with Le Minerale, which is an original product of Indonesia.

In reality, this is a testament of love for the Indonesian nation. We express our highest appreciation and immeasurable gratitude; this serves as inspiration and a call for all mosques in Indonesia and places of worship to collaborate like this," said Arif.

Arif also opined that Indonesia should not depend on foreign products, especially those that violate humanitarian values, undermine independence, and infringe on freedom. As information, recently, the Indonesian Ulema Council issued MUI Fatwa No. 14/Ijtima' Ulama/VIII/2024 regarding 'Prioritizing the Use of Domestic Products', urging the Indonesian people to choose original Indonesian products to support independence and progress in Indonesia.

"As Bung Karno said, Indonesia must be self-reliant in economic, political, and cultural aspects. Based on the mandate of the 1945 Constitution of Indonesia that independence is the right of all nations, therefore all forms of colonialism in the world must be abolished, and economic independence must align with the mandate of the Indonesian Constitution. National products clearly do not support colonialism and do not endorse parties that legitimize colonialism and aggression on this earth," said Arif.

In relation to this cooperation, Le Minerale and the Management Body of Istiqlal Mosque are jointly promoting original Indonesian products through various programs and activities that benefit the community, namely:

1. Providing free Umrah for five employees (marbot) of Istiqlal Mosque

2. Scholarships for 10 sons and daughters of the marbot

3. Revitalization of the Istiqlal center as a public center, to provide a comfortable place for the advancement of the Istiqlal Mosque

4. Blessed Fridays that will be held every week

5. Ramadan, consisting of a series of studies, culinary events, and others to celebrate the holy month of Ramadan.

Febri also expressed gratitude for the trust given by the Istiqlal Mosque Management Board to Le Minerale regarding the collaboration being established. According to him, this collaboration aligns with the values upheld by Le Minerale as an original Indonesian-owned company.

"We want to advance Indonesian society through social obligations. This is a new milestone and we believe this collaboration is not just short-term, but can last for a considerable time," said Febri.

For your information, the signing of the memorandum of understanding, guided by Dude Herlino, was also attended by Dadang Kahmad as the Secretary of Istiqlal, Arif Fahrudin as the Deputy Secretary General of MUI, Ahsanul Haq as the Director of Business Development & Corporate Cooperation, and Badminton Athlete Mohammad Ahsan.

"I chose Le Minerale because I believe that Le Minerale is an original Indonesian mineral water," said Ahsan.

Dude also added that he has been collaborating for a long time with Mayora as an Indonesian company whose shares are mostly owned by Indonesian citizens. According to Dude, many good deeds have been done by Le Minerale that have been received by the Indonesian community. Therefore, both of them are united in appreciating this collaboration as a form of support for original products from Indonesia.

Before the signing of the memorandum of understanding for cooperation, Le Minerale also held a workout session with the Istiqlal Mosque Management Agency. This was followed by a symbolic handover of umrah to the marbot and a symbolic handover of scholarships to outstanding marbot children.
