Sensation of Baby Corpse Prank in a Shoe Box, Police Examine 3 Witness

Kapanlagi.com - The public's anger over Youtuber Ferdian Paleka's prank of putting trash in a food box has not subsided, and now a similar case has emerged that is equally shocking.

It is said that a resident with the initials FL received a shoe box from an unknown person in Cipayung, East Jakarta. When it was opened, it turned out that the contents of the box were the body of a baby boy. The incident occurred on Friday (15/5) yesterday.

"(The incident) occurred in the Ceger tunnel, Hankam Road, Cipayung, East Jakarta," said East Jakarta Police Deputy Chief AKBP Steven Tamutuan when contacted by the Liputan6.com team on Saturday (16/5/2020).

1. Chronology of Events

Steven then tells the chronology of the incident. Initially, FL was riding a motorcycle and stopped at the Ceger tunnel to Hankam Road. He intended to stop for a moment to put on his headset.

Shortly after, another motorcycle rider with a mask approached the witness. "Then he handed over a package of red shoes, wrapped in red plastic, while saying, 'Here are the shoes,'" he continued.

2. Strong Odor from the Shoe Box

Along the way, the witness began to feel suspicious because of the strong foul odor coming from the shoe box he was carrying. After it was opened, FL was shocked to find the contents of the box were the body of a male baby.

"Then the witness took it home and informed his biological mother and reported it to the local RT Chairperson. Then, together, they reported it to the Cipayung Police Station. Subsequently, the body of the baby was sent to RS Soekanto for autopsy," he continued.

3. Check 3 Witness

Currently, the baby's body is being autopsied for further examination. Meanwhile, the police immediately moved to investigate the perpetrator who gave the shoe box.

"There are 3 witnesses that we have asked for statements. There are several CCTV recordings that we are analyzing from the location," Steven concluded.
