Meanwhile, TikTok and ByteDance are also expected to compensate the plaintiff with IDR 10 billion for immaterial damages.
2. Expected to Apologize
Furthermore, TikTok and ByteDance are requested to place advertisements acknowledging their mistake and issuing an apology to the plaintiff in print media for three consecutive days with a quarter-page size.
This request for an apology can be made once the decision has obtained final legal force. In addition, TikTok and ByteDance are also required to pay other costs, such as a daily penalty of IDR 10 million for any delay in paying the examination fees of the case.
