1. Getting to Know Each Other Since 2018

In the thread, NM tells the story of her love affair with a man she has known since 2018. They were so close, their communication went smoothly and they often talked on the phone until the early hours of the morning.

Everything was going smoothly, until in April 2019 the man proposed to NM right in front of her father. Family negotiations were finally held and it was decided that they would get married on December 13, 2019.

2. Smooth Wedding Preparations

The wedding was then prepared and they even had a pre-wedding shoot. "So you officially got engaged on that day, and waited for about 8 months until the wedding day. Nothing strange happened, everything went smoothly until on September 24 we had the pre-wedding session," wrote NM.

In short, during the preparation period, arguments also occurred. But they were able to overcome them. However, NM cannot forget the moment when her fiance got very angry and pointed his finger right in front of her.

3. Finally Official!

Until 10 days before the wedding, NM found out that her husband confided in her brothers-in-law about NM's decision to work. Yup, NM is a contract teacher and had to work on the day after the wedding. That day, there was a small event at the groom's house. NM's partner apparently did not agree with NM's decision even though he gave permission.

However, that did not become an obstacle for the wedding. Yup, December 13, 2019 became a happy day for them. NM and the man officially got married. They enjoyed the early days of being husband and wife.

4. Starting to Feel Something Strange

Until finally, on the fifth day of the wedding, NM felt something strange. Starting from NM's mother-in-law who did not welcome NM's satay gift well, to the cold treatment from her husband.

"The strangeness keeps increasing every day. There is no warmth anymore, no meaningful conversation, no jokes or chasing each other. The phone that I used to hold freely, now I can't, he keeps it, he always keeps it in his pocket. I make coffee or tea but he doesn't drink it at all," NM wrote.

5. The End of Marriage

The husband's cold attitude continued even when NM fell ill on the 12th day of their marriage. NM had food poisoning and asked her father to pick her up and take her to the doctor. NM then went back to her parents' house.

In short, that day NM's husband asked to end the marriage over the phone. "And when he called his uncle, he just said, 'Sorry.. I can't continue this marriage,'" NM wrote. NM then contacted her husband and the only sentence she received was, "Sorry, my past trauma hasn't gone away."

6. No Accountability

Yup, according to NM, her husband had almost been married before but it failed. NM then asked to be returned to her parents in a good way. The request was not responded to until now, and even the man's family has not met her.

This was revealed by NM herself when contacted by the editorial team on Wednesday (22/1). "There is no good relationship because since December 25th there has been no news from him or his family. Until now, no one has come to return me to my parents in a good way, they are completely irresponsible," explained NM.

7. Will Cancel the Wedding

No longer communicating with her husband, NM plans to legally cancel the marriage. "Our plan is to file for the cancellation of the marriage because I personally have never received any financial and emotional support since getting married," NM wrote.

Despite the heartbreaking story of her marriage, NM continues to receive support from many parties.

"A lot. Initially, I thought there was no hope, I was tired of living and often thought of ending everything, but I was pushed to finish what was unfinished and not run away from reality.
