"It's truly terrifying to see vulnerable photos of myself taken by someone else. You can see that I was in a coma, I looked dead," said Daniel as quoted by the BBC.
Daniel explained that it happened on his birthday in 2015. That night, he needed to use the toilet and walked down an alley. But the next morning, he found himself in an apartment and couldn't remember anything.
In the morning after regaining consciousness, Daniel only saw the feet of the person walking and immediately ran out. He admitted that he did not report to the police because at that time he felt stupid and didn't know what had happened.
Then Daniel learned about Reynhard's crime when a detective recognized him. The detective showed Daniel a photo at that time.
"There was a little relief because I finally knew what had happened and it made sense, but maybe not the relief I wanted," said Daniel.

The injuries on Reynhard's face are suspected to be from his victim who fought back after regaining consciousness. According to the UK police report, Reynhard was arrested after his victim regained consciousness and reported it to the police.
